DESCRIPTION: This project features Day 1 of construction on my Grandparents’ porch. Demolition on a long awaited remodel evoked appreciable moments of family banter that will be forever cherished. My purpose of filming an unorganized shoot was to give a collection of clips a meaning that otherwise would not have held.

DESCRIPTION: This project spotlights excerpts from a long form interview conducted for the final film of the Documentary Production course. The objective of this short was to feature the history of a man who dedicated years to restoring a tractor that has been in the family for nearly 7 decades. My focus was on improving my interview techniques by asking directed questions to my subject. The answers would help craft the story.

DESCRIPTION: This project is a short, yet detailed dive into the history of one of the most mass produced rifles in the world, the Mosin Nagant. The featured rifle was a Russian-produced rifle that was captured by the country of Finland then was modified for use by their military. This particular gun was rebarreled during a mid-twenties refurbishment program and issued to a Civil Guard Unit in the Capitol city of Helsinki. During this film, I tried to capture my enthusiasm for firearms by researching one from my personal collection.
