DESCRIPTION: The goal of this animation was to draw a character interacting with an object or obstacle that possesses weight. My biggest struggle with this animation was making the movements realistic. Since the animation had a stick figure it needed to mimic human movements, which are not easy to do. I chose to have my character struggle to push a filing cabinet since they weigh a ton and I felt having him struggle to move it would be easier to draw since I am not the best artist. Overall I am happy I tried it and I’m satisfied with how it turned out.

DESCRIPTION: To create this animation I first had to design five different flour sacks expressing different emotions. I then chose one of those emotions and produced it into an animation. Drawing is not my strong suit and having to maintain the same volume for the flour sack was very difficult. With other assignments you were able to copy and paste the different frames, but since this is a character in which movement is involved, it made it hard for me to get it right. Having not done this before I feel like I did a pretty good job, and I started to get the hang of it closer to the end of the animation process.

TITLE: Bouncing Ball

DESCRIPTION: For this animation, I had to use my knowledge of making sequences in Toon Boom Harmony to animate a ball bouncing off of three objects or obstacles. I was also required to use my knowledge of squash and stretch techniques to make the ball more realistic. Bouncy balls are not stiff as they will collapse on impact and then bounce back up again which is what I needed to resemble in the project. This was my first attempt at animating, let alone animating a moving object.
