DESCRIPTION: “Ninja” was the final project I did in this course, and it was definitely the hardest. The first step of this assignment was I had to model the character. I chose to go with a ninja because I thought it would be a cool and fun challenge for me. I’ve never modeled a character before and I struggled a lot having to start over multiple times. The second part of the project was the rigging and animating of the character to create run and walk cycles (which are not shown). Again, that was a struggle for me but after many failed attempts I got one I was happy with. This assignment definitely challenged me in new ways and I’m pleased with how my character turned out.

TITLE: Sword and Shield

SPECIFICATIONS: 960X540px, 72DPI
CLASS: FMX 217 3D Animation I

DESCRIPTION: For this assignment, I had to model a sword and shield using shapes and primitives. I encountered some struggles along the way, but after scraping the first attempt and starting again I finally got the output I wanted. The second part of this assignment was to texture them to make them look realistic. This was the easiest part for me and I am happy about how the textures turned out.

TITLE: Train
MEDIA: 3D Animation
SOFTWARE: Maya
HARDWARE: Windows / iMac OSX
SPECIFICATIONS: 1920X1080px, RGB, 72DPI
CLASS: FMX 217 3D Animation I
PROFESSOR: Marcio Goncalves
SEMESTER / TERM: FA 22
INSTITUTION: University of Tampa
DESCRIPTION: The objective of the train was to use simple primitives, shapes and colors, to create a 3D model of a train. This project was to simply test our understanding of how to use Maya’s basic features as they are the foundation of everything done in Maya. This was my first time modeling anything and my first version of this train didn’t end up working out correctly. So after I started again from scratch, I was able to complete it and mark this as my first 3D model.
