SEMESTER / TERM: SP 23

DESCRIPTION: Using my knowledge of CSS and HTML I created a resume that would invite the user to interact with it. I made the “ENTER” button so when you hovered over it the contents would appear. I then created icons for the different software programs I was going to be showing my work in, and when you hover over the icons the work appears. I used containers and divisions for every step to make the hover actions work in a way where the work only appears when you hover over that specific software icon. I also added animation to the glows around the words and icons that you can hover over so the user knew those were interactive. The animation on the bottom was a previous mistake that I then turned into waves that move infinitely solely for entertainment purposes.

DESCRIPTION: “Money, Greed” is a poem that I found when searching for inspiration for this assignment. Using my knowledge of hover transitions and divisions I had to create a typography poem that was interactive when the user hovered over certain elements. I used Adobe Dreamweaver to achieve this and took different words and phrases in the poem to create this piece. I also played with layering in order to create the shadow effects on the words so it looks like it is being mirrored and floating to the top of the screen.

SEMESTER / TERM: SP 23

DESCRIPTION: Throughout the semester we had to be in touch with a client to make them a website for their personal or professional needs. I chose to do my sister because she is in the process of starting her own dance studio called “Serenity Dance”, and she was in need of a website. After talking to her and getting a feel for what she wanted on the website, I started to curate it for her using Adobe XD. I used my knowledge of prototyping and web design in order to create a demo of what the website would look like. I took mostly stock photos for the demo since all the photos of dancers my sister had are the property of the dance studios/schools she currently works for.
