DESCRIPTION: For this project we were asked to make a short documentary film. I thought it would be a good idea to document a day in the life for me at the University of Tampa. This project was really fun for me because this is really what my life is like on a day-to-day basis. I didn’t have to act a certain way or think at any second about what to do next, I just had to take a camera around with me, hit record, and carry on with my day. I was also starting to feel more comfortable with premiere pro since this was my first time taking a class that uses a video editing software. Especially in this video I started to experiment with a lot of different transitions.

DESCRIPTION: This was our final project in this class and the goal was to create a narrative film. I ended up recording my friend and I would film him doing different parts of his day. The things I filmed him doing were meant to make it seem like he’s having a busy day, and he has all these different things he has to do. I also tried making it seem like these are all responsibilities we have now since we have grown up. All of that plays a factor when he looks at his phone and gets a bad message that upset him. The point of the video is no matter what it is, we all have bad days, and sometimes they get worse and worse, but what’s important is we get through those bad days so we can see the better days.

DESCRIPTION: This was the first project we did in this class. It was also my first time around for filming stuff on an actual camera and not an iPhone camera. It was also my first time using a video editing software which is Premiere Pro and at the time it seemed much more complex compared to the other adobe software’s I’ve used. I didn’t have any filming or editing skills and wasn’t really sure what do with my video so I would just start recording different parts of my day.
