PROFESSOR: Gregg Perkins
DESCRIPTION: The assignment was to recreate a painting in the Unreal Engine. Just like a film set, it was more important to achieve the look of the painting through the camera rather than create a realistic environment. So we had placed a Japanese roof model to create the big structure and a big wall to create the shadow on the right.

DESCRIPTION: The assignment was to recreate a film set in the Unreal Engine with the intention of shooting it on a volume. We chose to recreate the scene from La La Land in Griffith Park. The intention was to place the virtual camera higher up and put down props such as a bench and posts on the floor to give the effect that they were on a cliff higher up, so we didn’t need to create an actual floor, the more important part was the world lighting and the mountains in the background.
