DESCRIPTION: The Body Landscape project is a collage made entirely out of found images which directly pertain to the human body. I wanted to capture the beauty of the human form, and chose to make the mountains from black and white boudoir pictures. The trees are bronchi isolated from a lung scan, with a gradient overlay added. The snow/stars are made from the dendrites of neurons. The moon is made from an eye, with an exterior glow added. The ski lift in the background is created using the ulna and a single tooth. The background is a picture of muscle tissue, which had remapped color and then smudged using the smudge tool. Depth of field was imitated by using the blur tool on various objects, most noticeably the mountains.

YOUR ROLE: Graphic Designer
MEDIA: Photoshop Masking Art
SOFTWARE: Photoshop
SPECIFICATIONS: 4000 x 2250 (Uploaded size is 1200 x 675)

DESCRIPTION: The Multiplicity Project is an experimentation with Photoshop Masking and shadow control. Six separate photos were taken, each with myself in a different pose. These photos were then imported into Photoshop and blended into one image using masking techniques. Analyzing shadows and reflections for each pose proved important for realistic appearance that plays outside the bounds of physical possibility.
