TITLE: Ultra Insitnct
MEDIA: Javascript
SOFTWARE: Adobe Dreamweaver
HARDWARE: Intel Core i7, AMD Radeon Pro 5500M
CLASS: FMX 310 Creative Coding
PROFESSOR: Santiago Echeverry
SEMESTER / TERM: SP 22
INSTITUTION: University of Tampa
DESCRIPTION: For this project, we were tasked with creating an image using HTML and the <canvas> element. The process involved layering shapes to build a detailed visual composition. I created an interactive depiction of Goku, where dragging the mouse increases the size of his energy ball. Additionally, I programmed flashing lights in the background to enhance the dynamic effect.
TITLE: Abstract Unity
MEDIA: Javascript
SOFTWARE: Adobe Dreamweaver
HARDWARE: Intel Core i7, AMD Radeon Pro 5500M
CLASS: FMX 310 Creative Coding
PROFESSOR: Santiago Echeverry
SEMESTER / TERM: SP 22
INSTITUTION: University of Tampa
DESCRIPTION: This experimental project explored the use of trigonometric functions—such as cosine and tangent—to generate abstract, animated Bézier curves. By manipulating mathematical inputs over time, I was able to create dynamic, flowing visual patterns that showcased the creative potential of code-based art.
TITLE: Japanese Artistry
MEDIA: Javascript
SOFTWARE: Adobe Dreamweaver
HARDWARE: Intel Core i7, AMD Radeon Pro 5500M
CLASS: FMX 310 Creative Coding
PROFESSOR: Santiago Echeverry
SEMESTER / TERM: SP 22
INSTITUTION: University of Tampa
DESCRIPTION: For this project, we selected someone who inspires us and used typography to design a mandala-style composition. The interactive experience was built using HTML and CSS for layout and styling, while JavaScript was used to animate and control the interactive elements of each radial position.
TITLE: Waffles and Science
MEDIA: Javascript
SOFTWARE: Adobe Dreamweaver
HARDWARE: Intel Core i7, AMD Radeon Pro 5500M
CLASS: FMX 310 Creative Coding
PROFESSOR: Santiago Echeverry
SEMESTER / TERM: SP 22
INSTITUTION: University of Tampa
DESCRIPTION: For this project, we created another mandala-style composition, building upon previous techniques in symmetry, typography, and interactivity. We continued to use HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to enhance the visual complexity and introduce new animated effects, refining both our design and coding skills.
TITLE: The 4th Dimension
MEDIA: Javascript
SOFTWARE: Adobe Dreamweaver
HARDWARE: Intel Core i7, AMD Radeon Pro 5500M
CLASS: FMX 310 Creative Coding
PROFESSOR: Santiago Echeverry
SEMESTER / TERM: SP 22
INSTITUTION: University of Tampa
DESCRIPTION: For this iteration of the project, we applied the same mandala-style technique, but created our own custom shapes directly using HTML in Dreamweaver. This allowed for greater creative control and reinforced our understanding of structure, positioning, and styling through code.
TITLE: Childhood’s Game
MEDIA: Javascript
SOFTWARE: Adobe Dreamweaver
HARDWARE: Intel Core i7, AMD Radeon Pro 5500M
CLASS: FMX 310 Creative Coding
PROFESSOR: Santiago Echeverry
SEMESTER / TERM: SP 22
INSTITUTION: University of Tampa
DESCRIPTION: In this version of the project, we applied the same mandala-style technique using photoshopped images we had taken ourselves. By incorporating our own photography and editing it in Photoshop, we added a personalized visual layer to the design, which was then brought into Dreamweaver for further styling and animation using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
TITLE: The Crystal Gems
MEDIA: Javascript
SOFTWARE: Adobe Dreamweaver
HARDWARE: Intel Core i7, AMD Radeon Pro 5500M
CLASS: FMX 210 Digital Media
PROFESSOR: Santiago Echeverry
SEMESTER / TERM: FA 20
INSTITUTION: University of Tampa
DESCRIPTION: This was my very first project where I was introduced to referencing images to recreate visuals using only HTML and CSS. I chose an image of the Crystal Gems as my reference and applied HTML layering techniques to build the composition—similar to working in Adobe Illustrator—using various line styles and shapes to define the characters.
