DESCRIPTION: Dining In is about a woman named Clare who invites her new lover to have dinner at her house for the first time. When a commotion is heard from the basement, he offers to go down and check it out. It is revealed that Clare has been keeping her now monstrous, malformed ex lover chained up and feeding him the new men in her life. While it’s apparent she cannot move on from him, it seems the monster cannot either.

DESCRIPTION: The purpose of this script was to create an adaptation. I chose the poem “The Road Less Traveled” by Robert Frost. A woman, who is in an abusive relationship, decides to leave her partner early one morning. He chases her to a forest, where she finds herself at a fork in the hiking path. She can either go back to him or choose one of the trails to follow. Her choice leads her to safety.
