DESCRIPTION: “C O L D” is an Illustration made completely with code. This was my first FMX class at The University of Tampa as well as my first time with HTML. For this first assignment, I was tasked to do a simple illustration using code lines and coordinates within the canvas. I had fun doing this as it was pretty intuitive for me.

DESCRIPTION: For this project, I imported a sprite sheet, and Using Dreamweaver I coded it so that each section of the page has a different animation when you move the cursor. I went for a cartoonish style and a Japanese street as the background. The hardest part of this project was to create the whole sprite sheet in Photoshop.

TERM: FA 20

DESCRIPTION: “K I L L U A” is an interactive illustration coded in Dreamweaver. This project is one of the most time-consuming I have ever done, but also one of my favorites. The entire illustration was done by measuring coordinates within the canvas. After the Illustration was done, I added some animations, and some of my favorite colors to make it look better. The character portrayed is my favorite fictional character.

CLASS: FMX 310 Creative Coding
PROFESSOR: Santiago Echeverry
TERM: FA 20
INSTITUTION: University of Tampa
DESCRIPTION: “MOLLY’S DREAM” is an interactive mandala coded in Dreamweaver. I was tasked to use a plug-in that takes an Illustrator illustration and converts it to code in order to create a mandala. After thinking about different ideas, I decided to use my cat Molly for this assignment. Then I did the illustrations using Illustrator, imported them to Dreamweaver, and coded them into an interactive mandala. I used a lot of different colors and effects to create a unique effect depending on the side of the screen the cursor is on. During that semester, we coded a lot of mandalas but this was my favorite one.

CLASS: FMX 310 Creative Coding
PROFESSOR: Santiago Echeverry
TERM: FA 20
INSTITUTION: University of Tampa
DESCRIPTION: “SPACE INVADERS” is a game coded in Dreamweaver. This was the last project for that class, so naturally, I used everything I learned throughout the semester. I imported sprite sheets for the spaceships and aliens, designed a home and end screen for the game, imported different backgrounds and assets, and implemented mechanics like a time limit and progressive difficulty to enhance gameplay. I really like how the game turned out, as it resembles an aim trainer for shooter games, providing an engaging and challenging experience.
