Description: For my Producing class, our professor tasked my group with creating an original short film from concept to completed film. This is the result. This project unfortunately was never given the proper attention it deserved, at least on my end, due to other projects as well as the idea of filming this project never being confirmed until the last few weeks of the semester. Overall, this class was riddled with difficulty from the start, but not because of the content. It was mostly due to miscommunications between the class and the professor. While I know I don’t want to become a producer professionally, it still would have been nice to learn some of the ins and outs of this side of film production like they do in the current and previous iterations of this class. However, I will say the professor brought in a few guests like Tyler from the Tampa Film Commission throughout the class to talk to us. However, it was these classes in which I actually learned about producing a film past the surface level stuff we were doing in the class.

Description: This series of photos is what I was able to gain access to from the pre-production work myself and my groupmates did. As stated above, I was DP for this project. However, I was not originally going to be the DP so I was not the one who made the shot list. This entire project was a mess in terms of definition of roles as the three of us were juggling a multitude of different roles throughout the project in order to get it completed in the time we had.
