TITLE: Poker Game
DESCRIPTION: Using prerecorded stock footage, I edited together a short scene depicting a group getting together for a game of cards. The game quickly becomes heated and a fight breaks out. The scene is interrupted as a young girl, the daughter of one of the men, barges in from a side door, and it’s revealed that the 1920s setting is just a room decorated for a live-action roleplay session. This exercise was primarily meant to provide practice for continuity editing and providing coverage for a scene.

TITLE: Anesthesia
DESCRIPTION: Using prerecorded stock footage, I edited together a short scene depicting a woman at the dentist preparing to have work done on her teeth. The scene is presented in a very tense manner almost akin to a horror or thriller film. The dentist and his assistant both reassure the protagonist that everything will be fine and anesthetia is nothing worth worrying about. This exercise was primarily meant to provide practice for continuity editing and providing coverage for a scene.

TITLE: The News
DESCRIPTION: Using prerecorded stock footage, I edited together a short scene depicting a couple meeting up at a restaurant. The scene is presented with three different moods: happy, sad, and angry. The actors showcase how altering the way that a line is delivered alters the content of a scene so much. This exercise was primarily meant to provide practice for continuity editing and providing coverage for a scene.
