My goal for this series was to showcase the iconic aspects of Tampa, without taking the cliche pictures that 1 million other people and tourists have. To do this I tried to capture the details that create a Tampa feel, such as the bright, pastel colors that are throughout the downtown area.

This was an experimental piece that was completed after I finished the pre-production of my latest short film. I took all the handwritten notes I had from scripts, post it notes, etc, and compiled them in photoshop. I removed the paper from the images, leaving only the writing, but left the paper within the letters there, producing the colors you can see now. There are over 80 layers in this image, and I think it is a good representation of my mind at the time.

This was a photo I took in Maine last summer. The fisherman on the left was standing perfectly still, so I decided to include him in the frame.
