Coming back after the pandemic this project required we use only archival footage. I decided to use this exercise in order to reflect some of my more dark thoughts involving the pandemic and politics in order to channel them into this video. This is one of my darker projects and includes imagery from the Holocaust and after school specials on cleanliness and germs. I used these to make connections to the pandemic.

DESCRIPTION:

Hurt is an experimental film and exploration of peoples scars and injuries. The audio is composed of many different stories on how they got these injuries and how they have effected them both physically and emotionally. I intertwined the audio in order to make a story of my own and out of many different recounting’s of how they became injured.
