Narrative-Lookbook-1-1

TITLE: The Great Escape Lookbook
MEDIA: Short Narrative Lookbook
SOFTWARE: Google Slides
CLASS: FMX 312 Narrative Production
PROFESSOR: Taylor Curry
SEMESTER: Spring 2023

This lookbook is for my Narrative Production final “The Great Escape”. The story follows three men that get invited to a writers retreat and convince themselves they are locked in. I wanted this film aesthetically to be very gothic and dark, contrasting with the men’s normal everyday clothes to add to the comedic factor.

Proserpina-Pitch

TITLE: Proserpina Lookbook
MEDIA: Feature Narrative Lookbook
SOFTWARE: Google Slides
CLASS: FMX 340 Screenwriting Development
PROFESSOR: Cynthia Savaglio
SEMESTER: Fall 2022

This is the lookbook for my Screenwriting Development final script. The story is of Amy who meets an artist and the two end up falling in love only for her to discover he murders women in order to create his sculptures. Visually I wanted this film to have a very bright and minimalistic aesthetic with very bright pops of neon colors and deep reds to complement the cleanliness of the setting. I also wanted it to have a lighter aesthetic to contrast the dark themes and tone of the script.

Blue-Valentine-Pitch-Deck-2-1

TITLE: Blue Valentine Lookbook
MEDIA: Feature Narrative Lookbook
SOFTWARE: Google Slides
CLASS: FMX 342 Producing Motion Pict & Digital Media
PROFESSOR: Stuart Fail
SEMESTER: Spring 2023

This project was for Producing motion pictures for the assignment we had to pick a movie we wanted to use as if we were producing it ourselves. I chose “Blue Valentine” by Derek Cianfrance I love the aesthetics of this movie and the story of the anti-romance. For the project we had to come up with a very small budget, write a summary of the story, describe the characters, name different distributors and distribution companies and film festivals, and compare it to other films of a similar genre.
