Leading up to the anniversary of a very close friend’s death, a young man searches to find closure in recreating old memories of the two of them together. After a year of isolation and treatment, his parents unsympathetically hone in on his responsibilities, thus inspires him to put his project to good use in a local photography contest with a small cash prize and distance from his parents. Following his travels, he receives an unexpected phone call from an old friend inviting him to a party, where he finds he is outcasted harshly and his friends ignorant oblivion. Now in a heartbroken spiral, he submits his photos, lets all his hurt out, and disappears when it matters most.
