Production went better than I could have ever planned. When shooting outdoors, weather is always a factor, especially in Florida where it seems the weather changes every 5 seconds. I was nervous that it would rain since we filmed during hurricane season and we did get a slight drizzle on day two, but it happened while we were under a shelter and was over in about 5 minutes. My crew was small compared to other sets I had been on, but it was the perfect size for this production. Everyone was on top of their roles and communicated effectively and efficiently. My cast also did an amazing job even though most of them had never acted before. They were able to portray the characters just through body language and facial expressions, which is not an easy feat! Overall, it was amazing to be able to work with some of my closest friends on a film that meant so much to me. It’s always so exciting to see your film come to life, especially one you’ve worked so hard on.
