DeJon Prade Film and Media Arts. Fall 2019. https://fmx298.santiago.bz/djprade

I would say that I am a ‘work In progress’ when it comes to my films. I want to learn all I can in the film industry to progress even further In my knowledge. I started this journey pretty late In my collegiate career, and you can tell from my earlier work that I had no idea what I was doing. My rendering of the video was awful, as well as my audio and lighting. I would say that Professor Walker(who is also in charge of my narrative course) really has inspired my ideas for story creating because he so patient, and doesn’t expect us all to be professional from the start its allowed me the room to create.

While I was receiving my Military training it gave me the opportunity to write stories while I had the free time to do so. It was a way for me to get out of my head and the struggles of training, and to this day I still have that notebook. I can say from that experience it has made me a better story teller for my future films. I can see myself producing for reality tv or for Scripted television shows after I graduate. Learning from the professors I have has given me the opportunity to hone my skills in editing as well as producing. I plan on using these to be a better professional to further my future career and future goals.
