
Liz Davis’s interest in the entertainment industry came at a very young age. One night when she was eight years old, her mother let her stay up late and watch Saturday Night Live. Even though she was too young to understand most of the humor, she still became obsessed with the show. With a love for Tina Fey, Kristen Wiig, and Bill Hader, She would go around mimicking their characters.
Originally wanting to become an actress, It wasn’t until the age of sixteen when she became interested in the art of filmmaking. After being asked to act in a friend’s short film, she came to the realization that she had much more fun helping him out behind the scenes than she did on camera.
From there, she began taking filmmaking classes and picked up as many small production jobs as she could. Now, she has graduated with a BFA in film and media arts from The University of Tampa.
