Description: This weeks class was on recreating a vector poster that I found online. And I really like Godzilla, so why not? Well, I will tell you why not, scales, lots and lots scales. This was done in Adobe Illustrator with the pen tool. And I think I finally made the pen tool my…well you get the idea. After taking a ridiculous amount of time making a banana the previous week I am really proud of this. I would like to thank the artist that originally did the drawing, it was very inspiring. The original can be found on https://www.reddit.com/r/GODZILLA/comments/bv5ept/godzilla_kotm_2019_by_mike_mahle/.

Description: This was my first introduction to Illustrator and the “wonderful” pen tool. I found an image online to use as a base for the project and used the pen tool to “trace” the image. Then the text on a path tool was used to remove the lines and replace with text. I might have been a little grumpy at the pen tool, explaining my image choice. The basic image was found at https://images.app.goo.gl/MoiafKDKra2X7PYT8 but I added the horns.
