This was our final for our experimental class and I teamed up with Jacob Solganik and Cole Corcoran to make this film. Our premise was to make it feel like the two characters were taking psychedelics and what to see what the two characters were experiencing. my roll in the editing room was to add the trippy effects and transitions.

This project was our stop motion assignment. We needed 2000 frames to create a 1 minute and a half clip. I chose marine life animals, a turtle and a dolphin because I thought they would be interesting to watch come to life. We were also told to add sound effects to add to the stop motion project as well so I added tropical music along with lego stacking while the legos built themselves. I probably should have changed locations that wasn’t the floor of my house because my cat got in the way and ruined the continuity of it.

This project focused on using the keying effects in Premiere Pro. I decided to go to a mall which I knew had eye catching colors and objects so I could film them and to overlap the clips on top of each other to create interesting images. The title refers to how a child might see the world and how distracted they might be with all the colors and sounds.
