DESCRIPTION: A collaborative project with fellow student Kara Cusson. This was created as our final project for the semester and we were interested in looking for the skewed reality of the world around us. I wanted to create a darker atmosphere within the score, so I utilized lower tones and hard hitting drums to try and create that effect. I also wanted to have the same energy within the visuals, so I used unique angles and did a lot of videography at night to achieve the same effect.

DESCRIPTION: A stop motion project created utilizing rubber ducks, a Lego turtle, along with a skeleton. I wanted to create a story of a fight between these objects, making it seem like a harrowing battle between all of them. I thought adding a bit of a narrative element to the project was a fun yet challenging aspect.

DESCRIPTION: My project utilizing the triptych mode of experimental. I had three separate frames to work with, so I wanted to show three different speeds and emotions within them. Having the images of the people slowed down to show the change in their emotions as the other archival videos either showed themes of destruction, or on the flip side videos of happy families and cute home videos. I thought the dichotomous nature of these was interesting to follow.

DESCRIPTION: My first project for the experimental filmmaking class. I wanted to utilize a lot of motion within the visuals as well as the themes. I felt as if this were a piece about moving away from the other things occurring in life, and running to something new. I enjoyed working under the use of opacity, allowing for multiple images to juxtapose each other within the frame.
