DESCRIPTION: In The Dog’s Memory was my final documentary for the course. It is a short, interview based documentary focusing on Heidi’s Legacy Dog Rescue based in Tampa, FL. The documentary follows Kelly, a volunteer and foster parent for the organization who helps plan fostering events, takes care of many of the animals they have at the rescue, as well as makes appearances of live television for promotion of the dogs. The process of creating this documentary was fun and challenging at the same time, it allowed me to push myself in multiple directions that I have never gone before.

DESCRIPTION: Della is a short interview based documentary following fellow student, Curtis Higginbotham, and his dog, Della. This interview was my first time working with a two-camera set up on my own, so it was a test for me to fully explore that medium and try to expand on what I had known before. I wanted to tell a story about a dog as a test to know what questions I should be prepared to ask for my final documentary.

DESCRIPTION: Max Done was created as our micro assignment to begin the semester. It follows Max Dunn, former University of Tampa student and his decision to withdraw from the school. I wanted to tell this story as it was something important happening in real time, as I was able to get the video of him withdrawing from the University. I felt like understanding why he made this decision was a very interesting topic to be told within this documentary.
