DESCRIPTION: I created this painting for my boyfriend, who is a big Steelers fan. With TJ Watt being his favorite player, I wanted to make sure I included him as the main focus of the painting, while adding abstract concepts related to the team in the background.

DESCRIPTION: This piece was created for my friend, Jordan’s, living room. It is representative of a little girl she was very close with who passed away with cancer. They met each other through Jordan’s non-profit cancer foundation, Whip Pediatric Cancer.

DESCRIPTION: I created this painting of the rapper, A$AP Rocky with watercolor on watercolor paper. I wanted to include bright, vibrant colors to contrast between the foreground and background. I used a photo reference for A$AP, but incorporated my own colors and the concept for the background.

DESCRIPTION: This watercolor image of the city in Florence was one of my first watercolor paintings in the class. Similar to the above image, this is focused on the Duomo di Firenze, but more on the details of the building rather than the city scape, using cooler tones and straight lines to portray the complexity of the historic building.

DESCRIPTION: This watercolor image of the city in Florence was one of my first watercolor paintings in the class. I chose to focus on the tiles of the houses because they blended so well with the color of the top of the Duomo di Firenze in Florence, Italy.
