DESCRIPTION: The kinetic Typography represents Autism. Words: Always, Unique, Totally, Intelligent, Sometimes, Mysterious, are what Autism stands for. I created the background puzzle pieces in Adobe Illustrator. When you’re dragging the pivot around, you see puzzle pieces not being able to come together properly, that means that there is no cure for Autism and scientists are researching the unknown cause of this condition. Inside the missing puzzle piece are interactive texts describing autism like the positives, negatives, how an autistic person might feel, etc.

DESCRIPTION: The Illustrator Mandala represents a picnic. As you are dragging the pivot, you will see red apples, green apples, orange, lemon, lime, and grapefruit slices, watermelon, water bottles, pineapples, and purple popsicles. I choose to do mostly fruit in this mandala because I didn’t think other common picnic food items like hamburgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, chips, or cupcakes would fit well in this mandala. Popsicles are refreshing like fruit so I figured that could fit in well. In the background, for the picnic blanket, I choose an analogous of green and blue because I just love those in-betweens. Right behind the fruit mandala, you will see a plate and a shining fork and spoon, they change color are you move the pivot so I can look like they are shining.

DESCRIPTION: The interactive mandala represents 80/70s video games. On the far left is a list of the games from that time period, and when you notice that the game “Super Mario Bros.” is light blue while the others are grey, that means that game is selected. Since “Super Mario Bros” is selected, the mandala reveals goombas, piranha plants coming out of their pipes, coins somewhat coming out of their blocks, mushrooms and extra lives because they were part of that video game. At the back of the mandala, I created the controller because that was what the controllers looked like playing the NES in the 80s. Background wise, I made it look technological like so it can look like the mandala was inside an arcade machine.
