DESCRIPTION: Each of these images are part consist of the BW to Color project. For this project we had to take a selfie and have five of that same selfie and use a different color scheme for each. The 1st one is black and white the second one is a monochromatic color scheme of the color red, I chose red for my monochromatic scheme because red is one of my favorite colors, also, it’s one of UT’s colors. The third one is a complementary scheme of the colors purple and yellow, I’m not sure why I chose those colors, I just wanted to make sure that I got the complementary colors right, but It is my least favorite out of the five. The forth one is the analogous color scheme where I have to pick four colors that are right next to each other on the color wheel, I really like the aqua or turquoise colors which is why I chose those colors for that particular palette. Finally, I’m not exactly sure what that last one wall, all I know is that we had to be creative, but I’m happy with the results.

TITLE: Zoe_Jarvis_POSTER

MEDIA: Digital Media

HARDWARE: Macbook Pro

SOFTWARE: Adobe Illustrator

SPECIFICATIONS: 612 × 792px, RGB, 72DPI

CLASS: FMX 210 Digital Media

PROFESSOR: Santiago Echeverry

SEMESTER/TERM: SP 18

INSTITUTION: University of Tampa

DESCRIPTION: The Zoe_Jarvis_POSTER represents a word that describes one of my dominant personality traits: Confidence. At the top left you will see the word “Confidence” in white, at the bottom right, you will see a red message: Is the path to success. I added that message because in my opinion confidence really is the path to success, without confidence how will you achieve anything you set your mind to or wish to achieve? As you can see my facial expression, I’m trying to look confident right? I’m not smiling. I may look a little mean at the same time but smiling through confidence is kind of fake in my opinion. I choose a red background because red is one of the school colors for the University of Tampa, and it’s one of my favorite colors too.

DESCRIPTION: The mesh project is a selfie of me on the left side and a mesh version of that same self on the right side. I chose in between an aquamarine and cyan background because I felt like it kind of matched the sky, and also that it’s one of my favorite background colors. The shirt I was wearing in that picture, I wore often because I felt like it’s kind of defined me in a way. I remember working on this during a good spring break, which is one of the reasons why the mesh project was my favorite project we worked on in this class.

TITLE: Card2

MEDIA: Digital Media

HARDWARE: Macbook Pro

SOFTWARE: Adobe Illustrator

SPECIFICATIONS: 1750 × 500px, RGB, 72DPI

CLASS: FMX 210 Digital Media

PROFESSOR: Santiago Echeverry

SEMESTER/TERM: SP 18

INSTITUTION: University of Tampa

DESCRIPTION: Card2 is a post card with a track logo representing that I am a runner. During this project we had to do three postcards with a logo we have made up. Card2 happens to be my favorite out of the three post cards I did. Reasons for that is because it looks very organized, the aquamarine background makes the light red track look amazing despite they are not in the same color scheme. The reason why I created a track logo for runner is because runners run on tracks. I also like how on the right side where it has my name and information, the track logo is vertical.
