City As Canvas: Graffiti – April 2022
SOFTWARE: Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop
MEDIUM(S): Marker/Digital Drawing
CLASS: PUFY Drawing & Imaging
PROFESSOR: Anne Finkelstein
INSTITUTION: The New School
For this project, we were assigned to create our very own graffiti tag using our name as a base point. The font we created needed to embody our personalities as well as the color choice. Once we had our final design, the next step was to place it on a real wall of a photo we took in the city. Photoshopping it so we can envision what it would look like had we sprayed it on ourselves.

Color Pattern – March 2022
SOFTWARE: Adobe Illustrator
CLASS: PUFY Drawing & Imaging
PROFESSOR: Anne Finkelstein
INSTITUTION: The New School
We worked a great deal with color pallets and had to choose either an analogous, triyadic or monochrome color scheme. Then using a pattern of our choice, replicate it with variations of our color scheme into a wall pattern.

Value Figure Collage – March 2022
SOFTWARE: Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop
MEDIUM(S): Photography/Charcoal Pencil/Digital Drawing
CLASS: PUFY Drawing & Imaging
PROFESSOR: Anne Finkelstein
INSTITUTION: The New School
We began this assignment just barely delving into figure drawing and learning a bit about anatomy, and then had simultaneously began experimenting with pattern making in illustrator. We had to choose photos we took and represent them on the greyscale as well as our hand drawn pattern. After many sketches of our subjects, we vectorized our figure and applied the patterns to create on cohesive piece.

Shapes & Shadows – February 2022
SOFTWARE: Adobe Illustrator
CLASS: PUFY Drawing & Imaging
PROFESSOR: Anne Finkelstein
INSTITUTION: The New School
Exploring light and shadows through studying still life shapes. We originally began this assignment with a traditional drawing of what these shapes looked like and how the shading effected them. Then Once we had that set, would move onto doing the flat colors in illustrator to correct the composition and spacing, and then moved on to the actual shading. This is my second pass of my final rendering.
