TITLE: Elf Run
YOUR ROLE: 3D Modeler, 3D Animatior
MEDIA: 3D Animation
SOFTWARE: Maya, Substance 3d Painter
HARDWARE: Windows 11
CLASS: FMX 317-1 – 3-D Animation II
PROFESSOR: Marcio Goncalves
SEMESTER / TERM: SP 23
INSTITUTION: University of Tampa
DESCRIPTION: I started by making a model of an elf. I then textered the model in Substance 3d Painter. Then I rigged the model to a skeleton and adjusted it to make sure the model would not be warped to much when animated. I created a background out of assets the professor had us use to build an outdoor envirorment. I then found preset animation to map onto the skelton as the professor requested. I made the the animtion was attached and working properly before rendering the animation.

TITLE: R2D2 Attack
YOUR ROLE: 3D Modeler, 3D Animatior
MEDIA: 3D Animation
SOFTWARE: Maya
HARDWARE: Windows 11
CLASS: FMX 317-1 – 3-D Animation II
PROFESSOR: Marcio Goncalves
SEMESTER / TERM: SP 22
INSTITUTION: University of Tampa
DESCRIPTION: Useing a model of R2D2 I created I first rigged it so I would be able to animate. I then looked at refrences of R2D2 attacking. I then desided to have them jump forwards and headbutt like I had seen them do before. I moved each part into place before saving the postion on the timeline. I adjusted it to keep the model from streching too much. Once I was happy with the animation I rendered it.

DESCRIPTION: Useing a model of R2D2 I created I first rigged it so I would be able to animate. I then looked at refrences of R2D2 moving. I then began to work on having them move forwards by rocking back and forth while stepping before leaning back down again. I moved each part into place before saving the postion on the timeline. I adjusted it to keep the model from streching too much. Once I was happy with the animation I rendered it.
