I grew up as a military kid which allowed me to travel to see many different places. It gave me a deep appreciation for various ways of life I always enjoyed experiencing new cultures and hearing stories from different perspectives. I am also incredibly fond of animals and love learning more about them, their stories, and the many unique animals that live across the globe. I was always eager to see new places as we moved around. One of the places I am grateful to have lived in Japan which allowed me to see a perspective outside the United States. It also allowed me to learn more about Japan’s style of animation along with their culture.

Over the years I have gained more and more appreciation for animation as a way for storytelling. I love the way the medium allows people to show off their culture in new ways or create new realities. I have learned how to create smoother 2D animations and add more details to bring them to life. I have also been taught how to create and animate 3D models to bring characters to life in a 3D setting. Along with this, I was also taught how to do 3D printing and I love being able to print out models. There is something special about being able to hold a character from a story in your hands.

I am usually very creative and good at coming up with ideas for stories. I currently both play and run Dungeons and Dragons so I am used to both creating plans for stories and having to come up with ideas on the fly. I am pretty shy though and not always great at talking with new people. I have been trying to work on that recently by joining clubs and going to different events. I have also been working on trying to join more filming and animation projects to try and work with more people in the same fields as me.

In the future, I am hoping to join a studio and help them bring their stories to life. I would love to be able to do animations about animals and help people learn more about them. It also helps show people new ways of life they have not seen before through the storytelling power of animation. I have also become fond of 3D printing and would love to be able to use those skills at any time in my career. Ultimately I want to be able to show people new perspectives they have never seen before through the power of animation and storytelling.
