DESCRIPTION: Once we learned how to animate shapes in our Visual Effects class, we were tasked with creating an introduction to a business using such shapes. In my case, I decided to promote my Youtube channel, which allowed me to combine the new animation for the project with animation I’ve done previously! For the introduction, I animated two boxes with vignette effects sliding together before angling them at diagonal position, before duplicating and inverting their direction while making the colors lighter. I repeated this a few more times with increasingly lighter shades of blue until a sky blue was reached, one of my favorite colors. For the transition over to the pink ‘Here you will find’ screen, I once again had a series of boxes move from the left this time in gradual shades, this time being purple, to violet, to pink. The green was a lot more abrupt as I went from a bright green to a darker one, and then had the next box after that be the actual animation! Unsurprisingly, I did a similar technique as the opening of the animation for the end, except this time I went from lighter to darker and had all the layers moving in at once while being slightly offset, rather than having a layer move in after the one beneath it was fully closed.
