DESCRIPTION: As the title implies, the point of this piece was to take at least six instances of myself and add them to a single environment seamlessly while telling a story. In the case of my image, I decided to have it where the other ‘Justin’s in the image were gathering around, and one decided to prank the other. After deciding the poses I’d be doing and finding a suitable environment to work with those poses, I grabbed my camera equipment and had my brother take multiple images during the mid afternoon where the sun was bright but not incredibly warm. From there, I compiled the images in order of which ones had elements that overlapped one another before cropping out each ‘me’ in their respective images, making sure to preserve elements such as shadows to make it as realistic as possible. Finally, I adjusted the brightness and contrast on some of the layers to match the single one that I was using as the ‘reference’ layer, making all six images blend perfectly together at the seams.
