DESCRIPTION: This project we were given stock footage and 4 hours to create our own VFX shot. For this shot I keyed out the main character to allow her to be placed within the vehicle. Next I went into Cinema 4D to create the 3D environment, and allow the camera track to help me place the car within the right position. I then moved into After Effects to mask and shot match the driver and the CG elements.

DESCRIPTION: This project our midterm, each student had to shoot and create a VFX shot from scratch. For my shot I created a Molotov being thrown onto my car. To create this shot, I brought in many different fire and explosion assets to help sell the shot. Many of the effects used to create this shot are derived from After Effects.

DESCRIPTION: This shot was created to show how you can use pre-made effects like smoke and particles in a 3D space. This project allowed me to explore how digital assets like smoke can be used in unintended ways to have creative solutions for different shots with different needs. This project also taught me how 3D space can be used within After Effects to help with perspective of effects within a shot.

DESCRIPTION: For this project I selected a music video and to add and create my own effects. For the neon glow I used the saber effect. I then created a mask for each person and applied the saber effect to each mask, then hand animate each frame for each person dancing.
