\nThis was one of my first projects for 381 and the subject was “Sense of Place” where we had to choose a place that had meaning to us. I chose the Main Street Train Station in Magic Kingdom because when I worked for Disney I worked on Main Street USA and I thought this place was a good way to represent Main Street. I normally take all kinds of pictures while I’m at Disney, but it was fun experimenting and shooting it in a totally different way. This class helped me to learn the basics of a DSLR camera and to strengthen my skills when using one.<\/p>\n

\nThis project was extremely difficult, but it really helped me in learning a different way of photography. This project was done using a camera obscura in my bedroom. At first, I did not think this would actually work and I was very shocked and proud of the outcome. The photos start out early in the day, at sunrise, and progress throughout the day.
