As seen in the video, moving the cursor around allows you to control the cast shadow, which the main subject&#8217;s eyes follow. I had originally chosen a dark background for this assignment to contrast from the standard white, and the bright colors I used when creating my shapes reminded me of fireworks in the night sky. This assignment was assigned directly after the Vector Illustration; since I created a mandala themed around the night sky and fireworks for that assignment, I decided to change course for this one and create a scene that shifts from daytime to sunset depending on the movement of the mouse. For my images, I took pictures of various pins I owned and kept within a personal pin box. I felt that their unique shapes and thematically-inspired designs would lend itself well to the assignment. Using the arrangement of pins, I tried to tell a bit of a story.
