PROFESSOR: Chip Neville
SEMESTER / TERM: JR 23
INSTITUTION: University of Tampa
DESCRIPTION: For this project we were asked to take a famous movie poster and alter it in someway. New tagline, new background, new main character pose. For my poster I chose to reimagine Jason v. Freddy. I don’t think there are many more iconic horror character than these, so I wanted to do something cool with them. The original poster is just a black background, I changed this to the Camp Crystal Lake lake and a street light signifying Elm Street. I also shifted the characters 90 degrees each so their are facing out of the poster instead of at each other. I really like this poster and I think that it incapsulates the tension behind the movie well.

TITLE: “Futuristic Olympic Sport”
MEDIA: Digital Illustration
SOFTWARE: Adobe Illustrator

PROFESSOR: Chip Neville
SEMESTER / TERM: JR 23
INSTITUTION: University of Tampa
DESCRIPTION: For this work we had to create a futuristic olympic sport. I am not sure what inspired me to choose Comet drag racing, but I think it has something to do with working on DragDragon at the same time. For the contestants on the poster, I found a silhouette of a surfer and a star. I also tried to space them out enough so it looks as if they are chasing the one in front. I chose the location of Cape Canaveral as it seemed most appropriate. I like the concept of this sport that I made and I think one day something like it could be an olympic sport.

TITLE: “Joe Namath in Color”
MEDIA: Digital Illustration
SOFTWARE: Adobe Illustrator
HARDWARE: Macbook Pro 2016
CLASS: FMX 207 Digital Drawing
PROFESSOR: Chip Neville
SEMESTER / TERM: JR 23
INSTITUTION: University of Tampa
DESCRIPTION: For this Black and White to Color project, instead of creating something from a photo of myself, I had to find a black and white photo of an iconic or historic figure and edit it so that they are in full color. For my project I chose Joe Namath, the legendary New York Jets Quarterback. After finding the picture I liked, I went into photoshop and began to trace over the old picture and got my outlines. After this, it was a matter of filling in colors and creating some lighting differences to give off depth.

TITLE: Calligram
MEDIA: Digital Illustration
SOFTWARE: Adobe Illustrator
HARDWARE: Macbook Pro 2016
CLASS: FMX 210 Digital Media
PROFESSOR: Santiago Echeverry
SEMESTER / TERM: FA 21
INSTITUTION: University of Tampa
DESCRIPTION: For the Calligram project we had to take a photo of ourself and recreate it using only text. For the text used in the image, I wrote a long paragraph about what I thought my life would be like in 20 years. Once that was done, I added the text to which text boxes I felt it would look best in. Although it is quite privative I think that it does a great job of depicting myself.
