PHOTOGRAPHY TITLE: An Old ShackYOUR ROLE: PhotographerMEDIA: Digital PhotographSOFTWARE: Edited in Adobe LightroomCAMERA: Canon T6iSPECIFICATIONS: 1920×1280CLASS: Digital Photography 1PROFESSOR: Kathleen SankerSEMESTER / TERM: SP 18INSTITUTION: University of TampaDESCRIPTION: This is one of the first photographs I took on my camera that I absolutely fell in love with. this was taken in the middle of nowhere Missouri. This old barn was on the corner of a property I drove past every single day for years at my previous house. I love the character and stories that this barn shares even though it’s quite small and simple. TITLE: Empty FoundationsYOUR ROLE: PhotographerMEDIA: Digital PhotographSOFTWARE: Edited in Adobe LightroomCAMERA: Canon T6iSPECIFICATIONS: 1920×1280CLASS: Digital Photography 1PROFESSOR: Kathleen SankerSEMESTER / TERM: SP 18INSTITUTION: University of TampaDESCRIPTION: I took this photo at a state park a couple miles down the road from my house, I thought the sunset in the background had a nice homey and calming feel which is quite a juxtaposition next to a house that nobody would live in. TITLE: Photograph of a Squishy OctupusYOUR ROLE: PhotographerMEDIA: Digital PhotographSOFTWARE: Edited in Adobe LightroomCAMERA: Canon T6iSPECIFICATIONS: 1920×1280CLASS: Digital Photography 1PROFESSOR: Kathleen SankerSEMESTER / TERM: SP 18INSTITUTION: University of TampaDESCRIPTION: I remember really liking the composition of this photograph, It feels quite child friendly but also like it would make an excellent background photo for your computer or tablet. TITLE: Long ExposureYOUR ROLE: PhotographerMEDIA: Digital PhotographSOFTWARE: Edited in Adobe LightroomCAMERA: Canon T6iSPECIFICATIONS: 1920×1280CLASS: Digital Photography 1PROFESSOR: Kathleen SankerSEMESTER / TERM: SP 18INSTITUTION: University of TampaDESCRIPTION: This photo was a ton of fun to shoot. I spent a lot of time trying to get the timing right with the exposure time and starting the photo to get the optimum trail. I had to have my dad drive the truck up and down the street about a dozen times which I’m sure was quite annoying for him, but I’m happy with the results. TITLE: PortraitYOUR ROLE: PhotographerMEDIA: Digital PhotographSOFTWARE: Edited in Adobe LightroomCAMERA: Canon T6iSPECIFICATIONS: 1920×1280CLASS: Digital Photography 1PROFESSOR: Kathleen SankerSEMESTER / TERM: SP 18INSTITUTION: University of TampaDESCRIPTION: When I was shooting this image I was tasked with finding three people close to me and three strangers and having an impromptu shoot with each. This is a photo of my younger brother, and during the shoot we both were actually not fond of this shot, however after some editing and showing some photo’s to the class, this image was actually quite well received and it’s really grown on me in the past few years. TITLE: Saint Louis Art MuseumYOUR ROLE: PhotographerMEDIA: Digital PhotographSOFTWARE: Edited in Adobe LightroomCAMERA: Canon T6iSPECIFICATIONS: 1920×1280CLASS: Digital Photography 1PROFESSOR: Kathleen SankerSEMESTER / TERM: SP 18INSTITUTION: University of TampaDESCRIPTION: This was shot right outside of the Saint Louis Art Museum, I remember loving the composition of the straight lines and all the different textures you can see in the different stones. When I was editing, I remember accidentally sliding the color temperature slider all the way to the cool side which made the whole image absurdly blue. And for some reason after the photo was several times more blue than when I shot, it changed the whole mood in the image that I believe to be more powerful than the unedited version.
