The images used come from highlights of his fights and the dark/obscure theme used throughout the piece is to represent “the dark horse of the division” which is a term used to represent an “unexpected winner”

Description: For this project, I wanted to touch on the topic of homelessness that happens specially in Florida. I was inspired by the street art of Banksy to represent the misfortunate as permanent markings in walls (Graffiti). I found this to be an effective way of grabbing the viewer’s attention so that they can read and look at information related to this subject.

Description: A collage of the top contenders of the UFC bantamweight division. Wanted to create a piece that shows who are the current best fighters of the division (of 2022) who want to become champion. Looking back at this piece two years from its creation, it is really interesting to think of how different this would look with how each fighter’s paths went since 2022. Some new faces would come up and others would no longer be part of the piece.
