Description: For this HTML, I recreated Raijin, the Japanese God of Thunder. In Japanese mythology, Raijin creates thunder and storms by hitting its drums, so for this project I wanted to recreate that creation of thunder or electricity coming out from the background. The viewer is also able to control the expansion of the circle by moving the mouse around which adds a nice touch of interactivity.

Description: For this project, I made it so that wherever you move the mouse, the words “La Tri” are placed inside the silhouette of Ecuador’s coat of Arms as it changes between Ecuador’s flag colors (yellow, blue, and red). The silhouette was done in Adobe illustrator and later placed into the code. La Tri or La Tricolor is the nickname of Ecuador’s national football team.

Description: For this project, I played around with vectors to create a mandala. I also made it so that some of the vectors change shape and/or size depending where the user moves the mouse around. I chose a color palette that gives the feeling of an eclipse with a touch of purple.

Title: Party Collage
Media: HTML
Software: Adobe Dreamweaver
Hardware: Windows 64bit
Specifications: 800px x 800px
Class: FMX 310 – Creative Coding
Term: SP 23
Professor: Santiago Echeverry
Institution: The University of Tampa
Description: For this project, I created a party theme environment in which I used pictures I took of myself doing any random thing someone could probably do at a party. In the code, I then played with the opacity, position and HUE of the Images. What I like about this project aside from the randomness it has is the pictures I used for the background. The street is Kennedy Boulevard in Tampa, while the image in the back is a picture I took back home in Ecuador at a beach called “Bahía”, showing my two homes.
