TITLE: Walk Cycle
YOUR ROLE: Animator
MEDIA: 2D Animation
SOFTWARE: Harmony
SPECIFICATIONS: 1920×1080 24fps
DURATION: 0’05”
CLASS: FMX 238 2D Animation I
PROFESSOR: Dana Corrigan
SEMESTER / TERM: FA 21
INSTITUTION: University of Tampa
DESCRIPTION: This was the final assignment in FMX 238. It was a walk cycle meant to be able to be looped seamlessly. I chose to use Spongebob as a reference for this. As such I tried to capture the peppy walk built into the character.

TITLE: Lip Sync
YOUR ROLE: Animator
MEDIA: 2D Animation
SOFTWARE: Harmony
SPECIFICATIONS: 1920×1080 24fps
DURATION: 0’02”
CLASS: FMX 238 2D Animation I
PROFESSOR: Dana Corrigan
SEMESTER / TERM: FA 21
INSTITUTION: University of Tampa
DESCRIPTION: This animation was meant to highlight practicing lip syncing animation. The audio I used is a clip from streamer/youtuber Korone. I do think this was one of my weaker projects from this course as it was far more simple than I would have liked.

TITLE: Head Turn
YOUR ROLE: Animator
MEDIA: 2D Animation
SOFTWARE: Harmony
SPECIFICATIONS: 1920×1080 24fps
DURATION: 0’02”
CLASS: FMX 238 2D Animation I
PROFESSOR: Dana Corrigan
SEMESTER / TERM: FA 21
INSTITUTION: University of Tampa
DESCRIPTION: This is a head turn animation used to better develop animating characters. This is meant to be based on the character Lake from Infinity Train. I was quite proud with how this came out although there are some issues maintaining the shape of the head.

TITLE: Flour Sack Animation
YOUR ROLE: Animator
MEDIA: 2D Animation
SOFTWARE: Harmony
SPECIFICATIONS: 1920×1080 24fps
DURATION: 0’01”
CLASS: FMX 238 2D Animation I
PROFESSOR: Dana Corrigan
SEMESTER / TERM: FA 21
INSTITUTION: University of Tampa
DESCRIPTION: This assignment was for everyone in the class to make a short animation using a flour sack character. I decided to do a basic jump animation. The background is not particularly detailed but I focused on the character who turned out decently well given my limited experience with drawing.

TITLE: Weight
YOUR ROLE: Animator
MEDIA: 2D Animation
SOFTWARE: Harmony
SPECIFICATIONS: 1920×1080 24fps
DURATION: 0’03”
CLASS: FMX 238 2D Animation I
PROFESSOR: Dana Corrigan
SEMESTER / TERM: FA 21
INSTITUTION: University of Tampa
DESCRIPTION: This is an animation made to help me learn how to animate weight properly. The character pushing the armchair is based off of Tontu a character from the series Hilda. To help make this more accurate, I filmed myself pushing a similarly large object and used that as a reference.

TITLE: Pendulum
YOUR ROLE: Animator
MEDIA: 2D Animation
SOFTWARE: Harmony
SPECIFICATIONS: 1920×1080 24fps
DURATION: 0’03”
CLASS: FMX 238 2D Animation I
PROFESSOR: Dana Corrigan
SEMESTER / TERM: FA 21
INSTITUTION: University of Tampa
DESCRIPTION: This is a slightly more advanced exercise in momentum. This is a basic form of overlapping action where the base of the pendulum is moving which affects how it swings.

TITLE: Bouncing Ball
YOUR ROLE: Animator
MEDIA: 2D Animation
SOFTWARE: Harmony
SPECIFICATIONS: 1920×1080 24fps
DURATION: 0’02”
CLASS: FMX 238 2D Animation I
PROFESSOR: Dana Corrigan
SEMESTER / TERM: FA 21
INSTITUTION: University of Tampa
DESCRIPTION: I was put into 2D Animation as part of the pre-assigned schedule coming into college. I had no prior experience animating and had no real interesting in learning how before the class. It ended up being quite interesting although not something I would pursue further. This was the first real assignment, learning the basics of momentum via a short bouncing ball animation. My idea was to have a ping pong ball which bounces and hits a paddle.
