DESCRIPTION: This is a large-scale video mapping projection installation. I have a sleep disorder which causes me to move my limbs violently while sleeping so I wanted to explore using video mapping to demonstrate this visually. What I ended up with is I put a video of me sleeping restlessly and lay that over my comforter where I display bright chaotic sequences onto the squares. I also included the plushie ikea shark to give it some more depth and also feel more like a sleeping theme.

DESCRIPTION: This was a small scale video mapping projection project. My goal was to play around with the idea of deconstructing a body to its parts and recontextualizing them. It evolved into being about queer bodies in particular, specifically my own. To help work with these themes I used a portion of a speech Abigail Thorn gave at a pride rally. Additionally I reused the kinetic typography project I made in creative coding as it deals with similar themes.
