Vectorizing the letters and shaping it myself was a tedious but educational process for me and helped me learn a lot about Illustrator. It also holds meaning to me since the words I used are from my grandmother’s book that I helped her edit.

DESCRIPTION: This one was definitely a weird start to go to the middle of campus and take a photo of myself with duct tape over my mouth; however, I really love what this piece came to represent and visualize. Once the idea came to me, I knew what I wanted to capture with my camera for this project. The words play against the United States anthem and the irony in the speech.
