DESCRIPTION: For this project, I decided on an abstract version of the word love, I used a complementary color scheme to provoke thought. Going forward, I would think about recreating this but almost in a pop-art type of format with other provoking colors and patterns. The purpose of this project was to show other meanings to the word love than what usually comes to mind, that’s why I stayed away from the typical reds that you would normally associate with the word love.

DESCRIPTION: These images are in order from most recent to oldest, meaning the order in that I created them. I started off struggling with the skin color, but as I went on, I realized all I needed to do was make the color choice less exaggerated. After completing the first one, I really got the hang of it, I’m very proud of how the last two photos turned out.  My goal was to make these look as realistic as possible; in the basketball picture, I noticed it looked underexposed due to the shadows, so I decided to use darker colors to go along with that same theme. I loved this project so much because it was awesome to see what my dad and uncle looked like at the age I am now. I definitely plan on doing this with way more pictures in the future.
