PROFESSOR: Elena Cifuentes
SEMESTER / TERM: SP 20
INSTITUTION: University of Tampa
DESCRIPTION: I was tasked with creating a performance art video surrounding an issue or idea that I believe in. I used Plato’s teachings to help make my experiences become more hidden/conceptual. I also used the poem taken from Daya Nandan, who is a freelance writer, to break down the story to its core ideas. In a way, this performance I did reflects the struggles I’ve faced with being different from others. It was only later that I realized being different is a blessing instead of a curse.
