DESCRIPTION: “Casted” is a gripping thriller that follows high schooler Harper and her friends Ethel, Leo, and Patrick. Beneath the comedic drama lies a darker truth—the high school is a mere front, concealing a foreboding reality orchestrated by the principal. The poster captures this duality with vibrant colors and coordinated outfits. Blurred edges around the characters suggest mystery, while placed on a folder symbolizes the characters being watched. Also emphasizes the film’s tone and its underlying commentary on the generic roles’ schools impose. Overall, the poster invites viewers into a world of intrigue, humor, and reflection.

DESCRIPTION: “Perfect” is about the pressures of living up to being called perfect by those around you. The more you are called perfect, the more you strive too always be perfect. But perfection is unachievable, and people will die still trying to be perfect. My project showcases that struggle, and that perfection will only do harm when always trying to be perfect. My poster shows these struggles. I used an image from my film and overlayed them to show their sadness together. It also shows how people go through many of the same struggles in life. I use the tagline, “The burden of unattainable perfection” because I feel as though this is a great line to draw in an audience while also summarizing the messaging of the film.
