DESCRIPTION: “Shining Remake” is only a clip from the filming we did for the Shining remake. I was the Steadicam operator for the project, so I was doing the majority of the filming. While the final edit of the film is still in progress, I wanted to provide a sneak peek by showcasing two scenes where I exclusively handled the Steadicam work. This was my first time using the Steadicam on set, after spending multiple days outside of class practicing and getting trained by Warren on how to properly use the equipment. I also learned how to set up the Steadicam all on my own. I am very proud of how the footage turned out and how much time I spent to get trained to make these iconic scenes come to life.

DESCRIPTION: “Stalker” is a short film made in Cinematography. It follows a young woman on her way home, unaware of the danger following close behind. The film is about the dangers of the strangers around you and how everyone needs to be aware of their surroundings at all times. Especially women need to be careful walking home alone at night. This fast-paced short keeps you on your toes and your nerves high. This was a short assignment I did for a continuity project for the class. I wanted to impress and build a whole story for the assignment. I used the 4K Blackmagic camera and the Ronin Gimble to create all of the moving shots that connected the different shots together to tell a fluid story.
