DESCRIPTION: Deadhead is an image completely drawn using hundreds of lines of code in Dreamweaver. This took roughly 10 hours to create.The image itself is a recreation of The Grateful Dead’s album cover art from their Europe ’72 tour. This project was my first attempt with creative coding and truly jump started my love for new media and changed the way I looked at creating media art.

DESCRIPTION: 

This mandala is created using repeat loops, conditionals and mathematical functions. The images themselves are all my own collection of flower/bug photography I’ve collected over the years, the background image is a film photo taken in Big Sur, California. The entire mandla is interactive as you can see from the movement of the mouse changing the position of certain items.

DESCRIPTION: 

This project had many parts, firstly I recorded myself dancing 5 separate times, each dance involving different poses . Next, I had to create a grid so that I could separate out each animated pose from the video. The sprite sheet was then animated using Javascript on the html cavas. Also as you scroll across the canva from left to right both the background and pose animation change. I was inspired by cut scenes of That 70’s Show, when the actors are dancing to use that as the theme of my project.
