Good afternoon. My name is Billy Touzin, and I am a student currently studying at the University of Tampa. I am writing to demonstrate my proficiency in multiple popular animation applications, as I am interested in working on animation and getting my foot in the door of the animation industry.

I believe I am qualified for these positions due to my experience in many of the programs most companies use. I have plenty of experience in Photoshop and Illustrator, and recently I’ve gained experience in Harmony, After Effects, Maya, and Cinema4D. Due to this, I am positioned to be a great fit for most companies, as I won’t need much training. I am specifically excited at the possibility of becoming a part of these companies, as getting the chance to work on a true production in the future would be fantastic.

As I said earlier, I am well-versed in many animation programs, but I also have an extensive background in music as well. I have been educated on playing the trombone for over 9 years, and I have been a part of many performance ensembles throughout those years. Specifically, I’ve performed in Marching Bands, Jazz Ensembles, and Wind Ensembles. I’ve helped those groups earn awards, and I’ve earned awards personally for extra groups that I have auditioned for in the area. I believe my background in music is very valuable in the animation industry, as many productions rely on music for their films and projects.

Overall, I see myself as a great addition to animation teams. I am looking forward to seeing how I can implement my talents on a larger scale, and to see how I could fit in with my music background.
