Description: The inspiration behind this music video was based on the artist themselves. Corpse Husband is a faceless music artist and has other people play him or he’s animated in most of the music videos made of him. Therefore, I came up with this idea. The song gives off the club music theme so I decided to implement the LED Volume in the virtual production studio to create a club without actually going to one. This project also helped me realize how much I liked directing as well as art design.

Description: The premise of the film is about a couple who were told and were convinced that they were soulmates are going through a rough patch in their relationship. The two must figure out if they were meant to be together or are they falling apart. This was the first set I’ve ever directed and I was genuinely scared about how the final film would’ve turned out. Thankfully, everything went well for the most part. The most difficult part of this film, however, was the sound. The lavalier mics recorded the audio too low and the shotgun wouldn’t sync with the lav mics because the cameras themselves never recorded audio either. Therefore, the one thing that I will remember when filming is to always make sure audio levels are fine and test equipment before shooting.

Description: This was the very first narrative film I made in college. It tells the story of a girl named Riley who struggles with her self-doubt and overthinks constantly. However, through the help of her friend, she learns to manage and seem “normal” to everyone else around her. The story could’ve been more developed since I had an idea, but I didn’t know how to further it. Not only that, my color grading, cinematography, and sound need work as well. However, this was a great starting point for me to improve as a freshman.
