This is my Motion Graphic, Slime Studios! This was a lot of fun creating, as I was able to play around with the very cool new information and tools I learned in class, and had the freedom to let my creativity loose. As I continue to do more freelance projects in the future, I will use this short animated graphic as a captivating signature on my works!

It was an easy decision to choose Mr. Blue Sky by Electric Light Orchestra as the song for my Kinetic Typography music video, since it has been one of my all-time favorite songs for years, and it’s just one of the happiest songs ever! I saw it as a great opportunity to use bright and happy colors, which I love, and enjoyed every minute working on this!

I created this animated short story for Animation II. It depicts the unconditional curiosity and chaotic cuteness that defines puppies. I wanted the animation’s style to match the content, so I chose to maintain a very ‘cartoony’ style throughout to appeal to a younger audience. I illustrated the characters, props, and scenes in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, then composited and animated in After Effects.

This was my first ever rotoscope, as I animated Donald Glover dancing to the song “This is America”. I love the weirdness in his style and his funky dance moves were a lot of fun to animate and watch over and over. Although the music is missing, you can still play the song in your head, which is still just as good!
