TITLE: Parched
MEDIA: Video/film
SOFTWARE: Adobe Premiere Pro
CLASS: FMX 463 Multimedia Installation Art
PROFESSOR: Erica Isringhaus
SEMESTER / TERM: SP 19
INSTITUTION: University of Tampa

This experimental short video was designed to depict and exemplify the uneasy feeling of being parched in the middle of the night. It is a feeling/moment that just about everybody experiences at some point. I know that I’m not the only person who has experienced this, so I wanted to create a sort of “memory” or “deja vu” for the audience who has ever felt this, creating a sense of relatability, without using dialogue and being too direct or upfront about the message.
TITLE: Make UT WiFi Great
MEDIA: Video/film
SOFTWARE: Adobe Premiere Pro
CLASS: FMX 241 Into to Sound, Image, and Motion
PROFESSOR: Kris Atkinson
SEMESTER / TERM: SP 18
INSTITUTION: University of Tampa

This was inspired by my experiences and struggles with the University’s WiFi throughout my college years. Although I wanted my documentary to be serious, I also always like to incorporate some degree or form of humor in my films or projects.

For my narrative film, I was intent on making a comedy. Using my prior skills in filmmaking and all that I learned in my Sound, Image and Motion class, I created my own spin on ‘My Strange Addiction’. My only regret was using my friends as actors.

PROFESSOR: Ty Stude

TITLE: Rock Guy Documentary
MEDIA: Video/film
SOFTWARE: Avid Media Composer
CLASS: FMX 343 Advanced Post Production
PROFESSOR: Aaron Walker
SEMESTER / TERM: FA 19
INSTITUTION: University of Tampa

This documentary was my first project, as well as first time ever using Avid Media Composer. Already being so familiar and comfortable with Adobe Premiere Pro, I found it a bit difficult getting used to the dramatically different editing program, however once I got the hang of it, it became much clearer and I can now take advantage of the great advantages Avid has to offer.
